  • You can see Wapama falls even from main Hetch Hetchy parking. But it is worth to take about 2.8 miles hike to waterfall ( round trip less than 6 miles). You'll enjoy excited views at Hetch Hetchy...

  • We could not get into Yosemite national park because we did not make the reservation ahead of them even we have the annual pass. Regardless, the park ranger pointed us to this excursion at hetch hetchy valley, which is not a bad choice. We hiked about 2.5 miles to Wapama Falls and it was great. The round trip is about 5 miles and will take you roughly 2 hours. Please bring bugs spray, sunscreen and enough water (about half a gallon per person I will say, under hot days) You could definitely go pass Wapama Falls and further out. There is more to explore.
  • We absolutely loved this place. Went beginning of April 2022, water flow on the fall was perfect. We were able to walk through the bridges with no overflow, and still got to get wet with the mist! The walk/hike in itself was not too difficult and it was a good almost 6 miles round trip.
