  • Front desk person was very nice. We walked the 2 display areas that had informative information about the Big Horn Basin area, fossils, dinosaurs, & I thought the mammoth bone display was cool...

  • A really fascinating museum and learning facility. Take you're time going through the two permanent exhibit halls. You can definitely learn a lot about dinosaurs and paleontology in one hall, and a ton about local history in the other. We spent more time here than we expected because there's more here than we expected.
  • I went around 230p, and they chose around 4p. I thought an hour and a half would be enough time to see this museum, but I was wrong. There's so much information to absorb around every corner, but it's laid out to flow well. If you're planning on reading, seeing, and listening to everything in the exhibits, I'd recommend 2.5-3hrs. I'm hoping to return within the next year to really appreciate the exhibits and the work that has gone into them.
