Great bit of Civil War history! Great walking trails, but the paved trail over Redbud Run needs quite a bit of trimming. Otherwise the trails are in great shape! I think when I went must be the near perfect time to go as the wild flowers were in full bloom. I don't think I've ever seen that many wild flowers in one place. I put in 3 miles on my loop hike and there are lots of trails I didn't even touch. I also didn't go into the museum, which I'm saving for next time.

First time at this battlefield and I was thrilled. The walking trails were great, the area was well maintained, and the signage was well displayed. The ONLY ding on this review is the amount of dog feces on the trails. I know this isn't due to the park or staff, but rather indifferent visitors.
