  • Though parking can be tough at Logan Pass, visiting the center and the surrounding area is worth the effort. There are plenty of restrooms and exhibits, indoor and outdoor. The trail to Hidden Lake starts out the back door and is along a boardwalk for a good portion, though I still recommend bringing water and good shoes or well-fitting sandals. There's a couple herds that appear to love the are as well - Bighorn Sheep and Mountain Goat! BTW, visit the Hidden Lake overlook - it's very worth the climb!
  • Nice incline up to the ridge overlooking the lake below. In late Spring there may still be snow up there but I as there in mid July and the snow was pretty much over on the shaded sides of the mountains. Mountain goats are a popular animal out here along with Marmots, Pika’s and ground squirrels/. The hike up the wooden boardwalk is a good work out folks, pretty easy though. Wildflower come out in full force in the spring time too.
