Starr is amazing. We went on a tasting tour with over 20 people in our group and she answered every question we had . She was knowledgeable about the bourbon, which is exceptional, and the moonshine and the gin. The gin here should not be missed. I usually don’t go for a rye but the bourbon here is very rye heavy and as good as any bourbon I’ve tried. It has changed my mind about high rye bourbons. Starr is a true brand ambassador. As a bourbon fan, I really appreciate the details I picked up on the tour. I’m a fan for life now. Thanks Starr!

We have done this tour a couple times as we find it is a good activity when out of towners come to visit. I guess we haven’t done it in a few years. But this was our least favorite tour/tasting. Our tour guide was Starr. She told us nothing about the history of The Cavalier, how Tarnished Truth got started. It was very hard to hear her speak in the room with all the equipment. She made it very clear she had to do two more tours to do and so we couldn’t ask too many questions. That is what she said, verbatim. Very condescending in general. All 5 of us in our group felt she definitely didn’t want to be there. Maybe she was just having a bad day, I’m aware it was the Friday before a holiday weekend. But I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it others anymore.
