  • We were at the park for a Shape-Note singing in their large pavilion. The park seemed well run and was a lovely spot to gather to sing. We walked out to the point for picturesque view of the lake. Nearby families were having fun at the pool. The washrooms were clean. Several of the singers were camping there and it sounded like they had good experiences.
  • We love this park. We walked the entire park with ease. The trail to the nature center is nice and easy to follow. We were unable to visit the Nature Center because they were closed on Thursdays! It’s an easy 2 mile bike ride to Basin Harbor, which is a small town next to the park. The park is quiet and spaces are larger than average. All the staff we met were extremely friendly as is all Vermonters! The view of the bay is great, but there really is no easy access to the water within walking distance of the campground. Overall yeah, we’d come again. 😀
