Nice public area with good parking. Several clean bathrooms here, and you can rent kayaks. My wife and I stopped here on a bike ride along the Ruston Trail. Great views of the water.

Loved coming here before the remodel, and now it's even better. Plenty of places to sit and eat, so this would be the perfect place for a picnic and a stroll. There is ample parking with access to trails nearby. It was pretty busy, but that's to be expected on a summer weekend.

Just got a chance to visit Owen Beach after all the updates and wow. So beautiful! The facilities are definitely upgraded but we just started walking as far as we could. We saw what seemed like a dozen seals, we saw bald eagles fishing salmon out of the sound and eating them in a tree- just amazing. And the views of the ferry, Mt Rainier, and the water are amazing.
