  • My grandchildren loved the carousel and train. Smaller play park was good for them. Hot and sunny day, so the larger park was less favorable.

  • This park is a sanctuary for me. It's so beautiful, plentiful parking but can get rather busy on weekends. I don't even know where to start with how awesome this park is. The landscaping is incredibly lush, and gorgeous, the gardens stunning and well thought out, the gazebo and Japanese garden are straight out of a story book, not to mention the geese, fish, and turtles and ducks that live there. There are nice trails near the Little lake and plenty of space and picnic tables by the enormous playgrounds if you want to grill. There are bathrooms present and they actually have mirrors! I love the train ride and carousel as well. Beautiful park for a romantic date, time alone with nature, or with family and friends. So beautiful it is often used for wedding ceremonies. Don't hesitate if you've never been before! And in the spring and summer time, the butterfly garden is amazing. The butterflies are so beautiful and it's amazing to see!
  • More than just a regional park, kind of a unique and magnificent botanical garden. Cool and calm place to roam around in the park, always full of tourists just enjoying the beauty near the lake-house. Greenhouse rooms are just mind-blowing, even there are few shows available to watch. Thousands of different trees gives a different look at different season, even so many colors in the Summer. A highly recommended place to visit in Maryland.
