Visit a Japanese garden right in the heart of old Seattle at Waterfall Garden Park, a park created by Masao Kinoshita. Following traditional Japanese design, Kinoshita added one thing: waterfalls. Stroll the grounds and let the numerous surrounding falls lull you with their surreal mountain setting. This attraction once housed the original United Parcel Service office, until it was moved in 1977. Consider bringing a picnic and enjoying a snack at one of the cafe-style tables. • If you are in the area of downtown this is a neat stop. It is very shaded and a nice place to stop and enjoy the relaxing waterfall.

  • We found this quiet and peaceful gem as we were in the area taking care of some business and decided to explore the area via walking. I was surprised and pleased to find Waterfall Garden. We could hear the waterfall from afar, so we decided to follow the sounds of the water until voila!! We saw this beautiful place to sit and relax. Check it out if you're ever in the area.
  • A pleasant place in the middle of the city where you can relax to the sounds of the waterfall. There is seating area in the place. It is recommended to go in and see.
