A really hidden gem in Seattle. May not look like much from the outside, but don't let that looks fool you. Educational, but even more entertaining. A very short walk from Pike Place Marker right...

This awesome place is for all ages. Ocean creatures shapes, sizes, colors and sounds are adventure package this place has to offer. It's worth every dime spent. Kids love their day stay of fun and observe marine creatures. The uniquely arranged aquarium and color effects brings the magical water like you are under sea water. We definitely experience the underwater adventure without going under! They also have food court which offer variety of sumptuous meals. Highly recommend this place. If you are lucky you will see a scuba diver and a performer wearing mermaid costume dancing inside the big aquarium.

Good luck with parking (March 2022) had a 17 min walk to the aquarium from where we parked and we were only across the street and down the road. Last time we went April 2019 there was parking across the street. There's construction there now so who knows if any parking will be added. I know not much can be done now, but I felt it could have been more stroller /wheelchair accessible/friendly. Everything is so tight and the doors that have an accessible button are so dark you can't even see the button. And it's way too close to the door. Even the bathrooms are very tiny and could not fit someone trying to use it in a wheelchair very easily. Hopefully there's some improvements, but because of that I don't think I'll be going anytime soon, having two kids, 4 and 4months. The cafe upstairs was bigger than I thought, I thought it would be just a coffee shop, but they had burgers etc on the menu and coffees. I couldn't tell but I think there's no eating in the aquarium part. Employees (at least 4) that we had contact with were awesome though!!! It's a little more expensive than we imagined, having gone to the zoo last week which was more affordable and more animals to see. Currently upon entrance, signs say "masks encouraged".
