Learn about one of the last great prospecting adventures at Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. The Cadillac Hotel is your first stop on the trail. This site was once the initial supply point for prospectors headed to the Yukon. Explore the temporary exhibits and pick up a map of the original Chilkoot Trail that settlers used to reach the wild lands where they hoped to strike it rich. This is the only international historical park shared by Canada and the United States, as the park extends up to Alaska. The park includes historical settler towns and Dawson City. A visit to Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Seattle trip maker site to plot your vacation.

Well-done museum regarding the Klondike Gold Rush, of which I knew little about. I only wish we had had more time to spend there. Very friendly and welcoming staff, who will answer any and all of...

This small museum on two floors is terrific. Go to understand Seattle’s origins. It's free. There's an excellent coffee shop nearby: Caffe Umbria.

Very small, but very interesting museum. Went on a school field trip. The kids asked lots of questions, actually watched/paid attention to the video presentation, and we all enjoyed and learned from the exhibits. Loved learning about the experiences of women and culturally diverse people who participated in the gold rush. Great little museum and nice, easy addition to a Seattle Underground tour!

Free admission with a public bathroom. Parking StreetSide was possible for a quick tour. Small store inside too. Silly how they have the middle sink blocked off to force 6feet separation, but the doorway to come and go in/out of the bathroom is about 4 feet wide. The museum was clean and informative
