Saratoga Candy Co., Saratoga Springs

Lovely local candy spot just a few feet off Broadway. We were visiting Saratoga and exploring the area. We had some time to wander around and saw a sign for Saratoga Candy that pointed down a side street. Probably the cheapest and oldest marketing tool you can use, but it was very effective. Inside this charming shop there was a little of everything from vintage candies, gift baskets, sugary options, fudge and all things chocolate. We snapped up a little of everything but bought heavy in chocolate. So far everything was delicious and very high quality. I definitely recommend you spot when you are in the area.

This candy store is in the basement of the Adelphi hotel building. With us strolling and exploring downtown Saratoga during day and thevstore being open, we decided it was high time we gave this a try. The candy here is sold by pound and we picked up a few turtles, other Candy and my favorite almond butternut crunch. They have been around for over 20 years and their most popular candy during Christmas season is the Peppermint Pigs that have been featured on the Food Network, the Today Show, Live with Regis and Kelly, CNN, CNBC, CBS New and countless magazines and newspapers across the country.
