Once again, geocaching brought me to a very interesting site. I had read about this, the preservation efforts, and it was very moving to actually see it. I didn't walk very far, and there's a sign that actually shows where I was in the photos. I hope the efforts continue. There is one sign that's unreadable now, but what I did read of it sounded very interesting. Parking is quite often a problem in Richmond. There is a pay parking lot across the street from this area, and includes some more of the Slave trail.
