Harpers Ferry Brewing, Purcellville

I really wanted to like this microbrewery just for their outstanding outdoor seating area overlooking the Shenandoah river. Unfortunately I couldn't do that as this is a single most expensive microbrewery I've ever went to. They had 10 different brews on tap, which were a pretty good mix of lighter plus darker brews along with a couple seltzers. Most of the brews for pleasant to drink, relatively low alcohol content, with the exception of the barley wine which is really strong. They do have a kitchen with food and a pepperoni pizza will set you back $20. There were also a couple food trucks that were relatively expensive but had really good food. So if you're in the area there were stopping by but there are better choices.

I had such a great time at the Harper Ferry Brewery. The beer selection was on point and so delicious. The flights were the best way to sample a variety of beer they have. If you're hungry definitely get their pizza and all this while enjoying a beautiful view.
