Dollywood sits in the verdant foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Owned by country singer Dolly Parton, the venue offers standard amusement park thrill rides, as well as attractions with traditional crafts and music of this region. The park frequently features musical events, with regular appearances by Dolly herself. You can choose from ten themed areas packed with roller coasters, rafting rides, craft exhibits, carousels, water-toboggan rides, and live shows. The park's signature attraction is a narrow-gauge train pulled by two steam locomotives. Try to plan for a stop at the museum dedicated to gospel music. It has an interactive video and sound clips, plus thousands of items belonging to the genre's biggest names. Beautiful! The flowers, music, rides and attractions were all fabulous. The icing on the cake, Dolly was there that day for the opening of the new roller coaster in the park! Great visit

Beware Fast Pass! Not good on new rollercoaster and I was not told this when I bought them and it does not say it on the pass. Plus, there is a gouge to upgrade if you want to use it on more than 5...

We really enjoyed Dollywood, our first visit. 9 of us went, ages 2 to 60, and we all really had a great time. From roller-coasters to shops and shows....everyone was happy. Practically no wait times today at all. Dollywood is gorgeous from the mountains to the flowers to adorable plant sculptures.... Music is always playing somewhere and the family atmosphere is so cool.

One of the best THEME parks. Loved the Harvest Festival with all the pumpkin displays, Halloween decor and music - so much talent and love the music here. Lots of themed food and drinks. The hot cinnamon bread was a treat. Ride the Dollywood Express that circles the park, see Dolly's childhood home replica, escape to a bygone beaut of a place, and ride great themed rides like the Tennessee Tornado and Wild Eagle... the eagle ride really does make you feel like you're soaring!
