Eldora Mountain Resort, Nederland

Really enjoyed this mountain. It's smaller than the Summit County resorts but it has a decent number of runs. It's a great destination for a day of skiing...however not enough terrain to keep you interested for multiple days. The rental process was quick and easy, the staff were all helpful. Total cost for a day of skiing and rentals was about $250...it felt a little high but I enjoyed the day. Huge kudos to the professionalism of ski patrol. I fell in the afternoon, separated my shoulder, and Kamheron had to take me down the mountain in a sled...kind of embarrassing but I felt well cared for with my injury. Overall 5 stars and I look forward to returning again.

Eldora is a great local resort. It was really nice when they added the high speed 6 person lift. The glades are very dense with trees and there’s good grooming too. I recommend getting there early for ski to your car parking. Also, check the weather because this place can be crazy windy!
