At Homestead Crater Mineral Dome, crater experiences include soaking and swimming in relaxing, warm waters with natural minerals. Visitors can also take part in a scuba experience, with all needed equipment included. You can take an introductory scuba course, or, if you are already certified, enjoy the crater at a certain depth. Note that reservations to scuba dive or swim are required; visitors must check in at the activities center before taking party in any activities. Please check official link for further details. What an awesome dive site. The water is so warm. Had a private dive with the divemaster. Pretty neat things hidden on the walls and in the nooks and crannies. I loved watching the sand at the bottom percolate. Nice changing area. Very warm inside despite being so cold outside.

I couldn’t believe how warm and soothing the mineral water was! It was also a pleasant surprise to have no sulfur smell. I would for sure do the scuba diving certification here. The staff was nice and gave us a little history about the crater. Of course the white man had to take it over by poking a hole in it, but man is it fun to swim in. Head to crater door at your exact time. No need to go to the white house unless you want some merch.
