This is a lovely park to visit and hike. There is interesting history of the Washington Monument, as well as the Civil War here. It's a pretty steep uphill hike, and a tough climb up the stairs of the tower. The view from the top is amazing, and worth the climb. There are connections to the Appalachian trail within the park as well.

Picture a beautiful place? Now come here and see your picture come true. You have to pay 4 or 2 dollars as the car fee. In the parking lot, they offer a bathroom and a nice fireplace to warm you before and after the trails. The place is very clean and well-maintained.
