The site of two major Civil War battles, Manassas National Battlefield Park offers a glimpse into wartime through self-guided tours, fiber-optic maps, an informative film, and a collection of artifacts. You can go on a walking tour of the area of the First Battle of Bull Run or take a driving tour of the area of the Second Battle of Bull Run. You'll have the opportunity to visit the grave of the first civilian to be killed and hear the story from volunteers. Living history demonstrations by costumed reenacters happen seasonally. Note that the restrooms are in the basement, which is only accessible via some steps that may prove difficult for people with mobility issues.
