  • Beautiful! An exhilarating hike. I kinda wish some parts of the trails were cleared off a little more and arrows in the confusing areas…only for newbie hikers like myself! Overall a memorable hike…

  • A great hike north of St. George. 30mins North. Permit only, make sure you plan accordingly. I know that by mid-late April the calendar for June was about booked. So best to pick a date and...

  • This hike is great for beginning hikers, families and seasoned hikers. The start of this hike is very exposed and get hot in mid summer but there are lots of different river crossings that allow you to cool off. The river crossings are moderate and my kids felt safe doing them. Would not recommend taking kids under six years old unless they’re being carried. My kids loved the natural slide in the rock into the river. We did the entire hike in about three hours taking our time to play in the river eat lunch and play on the rock slide. I would recommend this hike to anyone on our way to Zion or St. George. It’s not very crowded which is nice but it does require reservations very early in advance and there is a fee of $12 per person
  • Make sure you’re at peace with getting wet up to your ankles! And if you look at AllTrails I think they say you can get this done much quicker than what it actually takes. I’d allot at least 3 hours to enjoy criss-crossing the water and taking pics, definitely more if your group has elderly or less-nimble participants. Otherwise, its gorgeous!
