What a view!! I have been wanting to visit for a few years now and for my birthday my husband took me. The flowers were so pretty. We went through the week, so it was not packed. It was kinda hot...

Short hike up to an amazing view! However many visitors have trashed the place in the past and it is closed to camping. REMEMBER TO LEAVE NO TRACE!! Pack in and pack out, don’t leave your dogs waste in a bag by the sign, there are no magical trash fairies that take your trash away. They will close this down if people continue to destroy the area!

Max Patch is a beautiful place now that the mountain top has had a chance to regrow after being destroyed by campers! Grass is healthy and the bees and birds are a fun site to see! The surrounding mountains just make the bald so much better!
