This is a great place for average swimmers to enjoy the ocean and for newbies to learn to surf. The only hassle is parking if you are not staying at a beach hotel

We visited Maui and Kauai but by far this was my girls favorite! Love this beach… let’s be real just stay here and enjoy the sand, sun and beach!

Spectacular beach. When we were there the waves were really tame. Curious what others notice. It's crowded. The sand is perfect. One of the things I look for in a beach is no or few rocks in the water at wading depth. This beach is great, at least the small section where we were. Almost no rocks to contend with while wading in.
