Heber Valley Railroad, Heber City

Fun way to spend an hour and a half! We bought our tickets ahead of time and were able to get right on the train when we arrived. We picked the open air car and were really glad we did! The weather was perfect and you are able to move around and get great pics of the surroundings. The staff does a great job making sure you are comfortable and keeping you entertained. There is live music, a presentation about the history of the train with highlights of some of the areas you pass, and even a train robber. Definitely recommend it, we would do it again.

Great family fun destination. During the holidays they offer many different themed train rides. The staff are knowledgeable about the history of the train and the history of Heber Valley. They offer snacks and lunch options for an additional fee. Trains do fill up fast so purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended especially for a themed ride. If you have infants they are NOT allowed to stay in car seats. You can leave your carrier at the ticket office free of charge while you ride.
