This place is small, friendly with beautiful views on the river. Nature at its best. Watching tubers go by was entertaining. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in our Travel Trailer 33ft on site 51. It was a very spacious site. No problems that the portable but stationary bathroom was next to us. The only downfall is the train that comes through quite a bit. It never bothered us but if you were in a tent, yes it could be annoying if not a heavy sleeper. My husband loved the trains. :) A little overpriced for no sewer hookups and having to check out by 11am. Most campgrounds are 2pm.

This place is fantastic. Unfortunately I only had a few hours to explore, but it is such a great mix of history and nature and there were some good places to eat. Had a blast talking to other people there who were enjoying a beautiful day. I can't wait to go back (quite a ride from MA, but worth it!) UPDATE: Came back and explored for a full day. This place is great.
