Took the family on a trail ride while we were on vacation in the area. We all have experience on horses but where we live is really flat so we thought it would be nice to ride in the mountains. The people were great, the horses are awesome and VERY well trained. You really don't have to do much, the guide rides up front and the horses play "follow the leader." They tack up the horses and all you have to do is get on, sit, then get off, which the staff will assist with if you need it. The scenery is beautiful and overall it was a great experience. We rode for an hour up about 1000 feet and back down the mountain. They take pictures of your party which you can purchase from the gift shop. The only thing I didn't like was that they don't take reservations. You are put on a wait-list when you show up and since it gets busy, you may have to wait a few hours before going on a ride. Also, the bathroom isn't very clean.

Staff here was very friendly, horses were beautiful and very well trained for the trail. We were all 1st time riders and enjoyed this so much. Well worth the price and we recommend getting the photos. We will visit again when we come back.
