Passing a series of small waterfalls, Little River Road twists and turns along the riverbank offering great photographic opportunities. This scenic mountain road stretches for 29 km (18 mi) connecting the visitor's center near Gatlinburg with Cades Cove. Take advantage of the low speed limit to slow down and soak in the views or pull over and snap a few pictures, hike, picnic, fish, or swim. Note that the cliff face gets very close to the road in some portions, so drive carefully, especially if you own an RV or a larger vehicle.
