  • Wide and impressive sights to see at this lookout, even for the Grand Canyon. Place to go to see sunset. Go early for that.

  • We loved the views from our Hopi Point vantage spot. It's situated so that you can see either sunrise or sunset. The way the light hits the canyon walls is quite beautiful. Hopi seemed to be the most....  more

  • Another spectacular viewpoint on Hermit Road that can be reached by walking on the South Rim Trail or by bus. I recommend to walk from Grand Canyon Village at least until Mohave Point, and then take the bus for the return trip. Make sure to observe the canyon from all the multiple spots that Hopi Point offers, as each one gives you wonderful angles!
  • Extreme point jutting over the Canyon gives best sunrise views from the South Rim. However, the globe of the sun doesn't shoot through the canyon slot until summer time. Very windy at our winter visit but it was a fun dawn adventure. Large parking lot here and easy access to Rim Walk.
