Wallace Falls State Park, Gold Bar

We went today on a bright and sunny day, it was crowded and parking lot was full and people parked on road sides, luckily we got it in parking lot itself. We went to both lower and middle falls with my 6 years old kid, he was able to trek all the way on his own. It's 4.2 miles trekking to and fro for middle falls. You'll get the best view in the middle falls and along with that we enjoyed the awesome weather as well. Decent rest rooms and tables to have food as well. You need Discover park to park the vehicles, pets allowed as well.

Hiked Wallace Falls today and it was beautiful to say the least. The trail itself was well groomed. Granted, I went when the weather was dry and hot but come spring or fall, the trail could get slick given some of the steep terrain. Not an easy hike but not a killer hike either. The switchbacks are rough for sure but maybe not a good hike if you're a beginner or out of shape. Lots a great views along the Wallace and both the middle and upper falls have picturesque opportunities with either trail option. It's a popular hike and parking gets limited really quick so come early and beat the rush. Props to the park officials for keeping the trail clean.
