Took the 7 and 9 year old grand daughters on a sunny summer day. The walk through area was well shaded and not crowded on a Sunday noon time visit. Guess we were fortunate that just about everything..... more

We went through the drive through section and got to feed and see the animals. My grandson loved it but watch the birds the stick their heads in the car and peck at the cup of food. The deer will eat of.your hand. We then went in the zoo area which is very nice with a picnic area. You can feed the caged animals in their pens. Climax is feeding the Giraffe carrots by hand. They bend their long necks over the fence to get a nibble. Great way to spend an afternoon. They start to close up at 3pm section by section and by 4pm it closes. They also have a kiddie ride area.

My first time ever there, definitely not wheelchair or walker friendly, but still managed to be able to see everything. Absolutely love the animals. I felt like a little kid going through the drive-through safari. I absolutely loved it!
