  • Some mixed feelings about Boscobel... I've known of the gardens for a while and have been meaning to visit based on the great reviews and their website. I was a bit disappointed when I finally made...

  • Fascinating history very informative staff especially in the house itself a lovely afternoon out but did feel a tad overpriced as only an hour or so of stuff to do max.

  • I was here once before when it was a day it is opened and This is actually a nice place when it's open, but it's closed a few days a week so be careful that you check the schedule to see when they are open. I gave this place two stars because I didn't check the schedule ( my bad) I came a second and it was closed I asked a gardener near the main gate a question and he was extremely nasty to me for no reason. Hopefully he is gone but the place need to get their staff better...
  • Fantastic experience planning and hosting my wedding at Boscobel. Ryan, the events coordinator is the best - excellent communication, great recommendations, and helped facilitate with the caterer. The grounds are a beautiful setting for the ceremony overlooking the Hudson, and space for guests to roam during the cocktail hour. The carriage house was perfect for a 40 person reception, we even had space for a small dance floor. They've recently built a brand-new pavillion for larger weddings, and there are multiple ceremony options for different size weddings (herb garden, formal garden, on the lawn) so the previous review about "getting married in a field" is no longer accurate. Would also recommend setting up a tour of the home with Charlie if you're planning a visit. He was tremendous and answered all of my mom's many questions about the home and its history and restoration.
