Carroll Creek Linear Park, Frederick

This place was really cool, this time of year they have the boats set up with all the lights on them for Christmas. There was plenty of stuff to see and there were shops open so you can grab a hot drink or even food while you walk around and check everything out. Great place to go for adults and kids alike to get a few hours of entertainment in your day for the holiday season.

Almost every time we're in Frederick, we make time to walk Carroll Creek. There are multiple garages within walking distance if you're not familiar with the area and don't want to find street parking. The creek is beautiful year round with rotating displays. We just visited the Sailing Through the Winter Solstice (pictured below) which was fun, so creative and gives back to the community. Various restaurants, antique stores, a distillery, the library and more are a direct access from the creek. Occasionally features live music and is well maintained. Paved and wheelchair/handicap accessible.
