    A great museum for the whole family. Open on weekends and provides history of the Pikes Peak area, from gems to history of the frontier days. Home of two of the largest quartz in North America.

    This is a small, yet very interesting museum. There are several small exhibits about Native Americans in the area, early settlers, and geology all with some very cool artifacts. Hours are limited, but if you can make a trip here it is definitely worth it to learn more about the history of Florissant and the Pikes Peak region.
