A million reflective glass tiles, and numerous oddly shaped steel and titanium structures of Denver Art Museum, guard 68,000 art pieces from all over the world. The museum is well known for its Native American collection, and pre-Columbian and Spanish Colonial art objects. You will see sculptures, drawings, jewelry, and textiles from Africa and the Pacific islands, as well as Asian arts and crafts. Fifty-five hundred pieces from the Americas are preserved here. Apart from winning numerous awards for its collections, the museum has also been included in USA Today's list of family-friendly museums, where kids can play and learn through projects and workshops. The informational placards at this museum really enable a deeper understanding of the art you experience. The Native American art galleries create a unique sense of being grounded in the true spirit of this land. Incredible depth and breadth throughout the entire museum. Could have spent all day here if I didn’t need to eat 😂

We had a great time! Expect to spend at least 2 to 3 hours here as there is so much to see. I would invest in the whistler to Cassatt exhibit right now as it was incredible. We had a great time, and there were 7 floors of exhibits available in the second building. Art selection and the ways they were presented was fantastic. Would totally come again if I were in town
