There are few places so rich in both history and spirit as Glen Eyrie! Originally constructed in the late 1800s by Civil War hero and founder of Colorado Springs General William Jackson Palmer, Glen Eyrie was a modern marvel for its day featuring both electrical power (supplied by its own power plant) and some of the first telephones installed in the West.See Glen Eyrie Castle and all Colorado Springs has to offer by arranging your trip with our Colorado Springs online tour planner.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! This place is breathtaking the views are amazing! We made reservations for tea time and the tea was so good. The serving sizes were perfect even my husband enjoyed them and got full which is saying a lot. We went in the fall so we experienced a lot of pumpkin flavors different spices, which was great. I have no complaints about this place. We absolutely loved it. It was on my bucket list for a while. The ambiance was so serene and our waiter Austin was so nice and attentive. The staff was friendly as well.

Highly recommend the Rock Tour through Glen Eyrie's property. Whether or not you might be interested in geological formations or just looking for a fun way to spend some time outdoors. Our tour guide Linda made the tour awesome! She was incredibly knowledgeable and took family photos on different "stops" along the way. Oh, there is a great coffee shop so you can wake up before heading outside if you want to. The grounds of the castle are really pleasant to stroll through and overall it makes for a great day trip... check the Rock Tour out for sure.
