Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland

I love Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! One of the largest collections of music memorabilia in the world. It was incredible to see so many cool items from the most influential artists and musicians of all time! Michael Jackson's Thriller jacket, Bob Marley's famous beanie, The Beatles' suits, Elvis' motorcycle and so much more! We heard displays are constantly changing so you may not always see these things, plan a visit soon! We arrived on a Saturday at 4pm and had only one hour to make it through this museum. We were on a mission! The woman at the front desk told us the best place to start was in the basement to see their most impressive displays and then work our way up by elevator. We were able to see all six floors in an hour! I definitely recommend spending more time if possible, however you can see a lot in a short amount of time. Pictures and videos are allowed. Make sure to stop at the gift shop on the way out. There are so many fun things to buy as souvenirs or gifts. Credit cards only no cash accepted. Parking was easy to find across the street. Tickets are mobile and can be purchased at at kiosk right inside the entrance. Don't leave Cleveland without visiting this museum!

PRO TIPS: by far one of the most impressive collections of music memorabilia ever assembled. HOWEVER the museum layout for FIRST TIME VISITORS can be quite confusing. You actually enter the Hall of Fame on Level 1. Then travel paths want you to start your tour downstairs on Level 0 (which is the BASEMENT featuring the larger collection of exhibits). THEN you'll see travel paths which force you to head up to Levels 3, 4, 5, & 6, then finally down to end on level 2 with a final exit through the gift shop on Level 1 at the end of your tour. Confused? HOWEVER MY RECOMMENDED TRAVEL PATH IS (especially with large crowds OR weekend visits): Try starting out on Level 2 (take the elevator) & work your way up the pyramid to avoid the crowds. BUT always end your tour on the impressive Level 0 which is in the basement featuring the most exhibits. SAVE LEVEL ZERO FOR LAST!!!! There is actually an online exhibit guide to help plan your tour prior to arrival. Plan for 2-3 hours if you like rock music. Also lower your expectations as you will not see many artists memorabilia since exhibits rotate in/out. ALSO many artists are not in the Hall of Fame (as of this review) including Phish, B52's, Kate Bush, Weird Al, etc.
