I had no idea there was a church in the United States that looked like this. Absolutely the most beautiful church outside of Europe.

A marvelous, artistic and theologically built masterpiece in this region ! The sanctuary is built with inspiration from Notre Dame in Paris. It has the origin and history back from the time of Pioneers settlement. Every piece of this basilica, inside and outside, speaks for history, uniqueness, beauty and workmanship! The stained glass windows and panels are breathtaking. Paintings on the walls and ceiling are not made of just paint but made of tiny glass pieces ! An hour guided tour is worth taking to learn the details. Very impressive and educative for families of all ages ! Enough car parking places are available in and around.

This is a beautiful old cathedral with amazing stained glass windows. The two attendants on staff were very helpful and pointed out some amazing things to us in the glass that we would not have seen had they not been there. They also have quite the collection of holy relics if you're into that. This is a self-guided tour and you can take as much time as you like. I'm told that this place is often referred to as the Notre Dame of the Americas and I think it's deserving of the title. This is a site that should not be missed especially if you're Catholic.
