  • We loved our tour guide, Tom, who was a fast-talking joker and full of stories and fun facts. He showed us the house, grounds and herbarium and brought them all to life. It would be helpful if there were a shuttle from Burlington. The first time we tried to visit, we missed the city bus, which runs hourly. The second time, we made the bus, and we enjoyed the half-hour walk through neighborhoods and woods, but not everyone would be up for that. Transportation for those without cars would be most welcome.
  • Informative and animated tour brought Ethan Allen to life. Guide very knowledgeable on botany as well as history. Historical dwelling is small and simple but adds realism to the representation of EA’s life.
