Survey colorful limestone spires and arches from a windswept vantage point at Inspiration Point. A lookout in Bryce Canyon National Park, the point gives panoramic views of the canyon's horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters, which contain naturally formed hoodoos--spires created in limestone due to erosion. You'll marvel at the contorted formations and their graduated color palette, which changes as the light of the day moves across the valley. If you are a bird-watcher, keep an eye out for the extremely rare California condor, which can sometimes be seen in the area. The point is an excellent spot for wildlife and landscape photography. There are many worthwhile pullouts and points of interest along the park road. With a name like Inspiration Point you might have inflated expectations. It is nice, but so are many others. Do not...

Beautiful National Park not much of a hike to all the main points: Sunrise Sunset Inspiration Bryce Plenty of parking near each of the points (less than 2 minutes walking)

Lower inspiration point can get a good view of the canyon, but we would suggest visitors to do a very short hike to the upper inspiration point (5-10 minutes) since the view there is definitely better. Parking is limited, but there’s a shuttle bus stop that visitors can leverage. The road can be a bit icy in late November, so some shoe traction aid would be very helpful. Hiking poles might be optional. There’s a trail that can connect to the Bryce Point, but we decided to drive there vs hike there given the slippery road condition. (Follow me on IG ➡️ miss_dawang)
