  • This park was recommended to us by a friend. We ended up spending the day there going to the overlook, hiking and doing a picnic. The overlook is breathtaking. We definitely wish we had more time...

  • This state park is absolutely amazing. The glacier rock formations left are beautiful and astounding to look at. Going out onto the cliff for the scenic overlook is astounding. I can't describe how far out you can see. There is also camping that was pretty affordable and spots just to have picnics and pavilions. There were a couple small playgrounds. There's a pond you can fish in. We did an 8 Mile hike. We saw an old iron forge that was left behind. I would definitely recommend going here for the day if at all possible. It was a 3-hour drive each way for us but it was completely worth it.
  • Very cool state forest. We stayed at the campsites. Campsites were spacious and clean. Full hook up available in some parts. They said wifi was available but I wasn't able to connect. Either was my partner who had to work while there. My 4 year old and new born took the roadside trail from our campsite to coopers rock. It was a lovely trail but maybe a little to long for children of those ages. But we made it and it was worth it.
