We visited the Freedom Memorial end of May. Very beautiful, peaceful location. Names etched in glass pay tribute to so many who gave their lives. I am told evening time when Memorial is illuminated...

The story behind the idea, design, creation & build is one that my eyes left damp. Thank you to the man behind the idea & main catalyst of the Colorado Freedom Memorial, Rick Crandall, for the explanation, stories & tour! I look forward to the future Welcome Center. As well as for future Coloradans for generations to come, to learn & pay their respects to thoes who have served & paid the ultimate sacrifice from Colorado.

Came to see this memorial while we were in Aurora. My husband has a friend he served with on the wall here. Was a very beautiful and simple display to pay respect and to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. As a veteran it always hits harder to see these memorials but it's also nice to know those who lost their lives are not forgotten ❤
