It was one of the few locations that was open. The statutes and art are beautiful. Even the back of the church has beautiful statute.

Found this church while visiting Alexandria and went to Sunday mass. It was my first time visiting a reverent mass and I truly felt the Holy Spirit working in me. Also, I live the kneeler in front for communion. Who knew as a Catholic, I’ve been missing out on these other masses. I also love that they implemented latin in their mass. If I’m ever in the area, I’ll come back to visit and maybe also check out the daily mass too.

Home away from home 💒🔔⛪️🙏🏻🏠 This is my first time traveling to east coast and staying at National Harbor for a week for a conference. I found Basilica of Saint Mary from the app called MassTimes and attended a mass during noon time. Thanks for the Church to make me feel like going back home when away from home.
