The oldest of the Six Flags properties, Six Flags New England combines a theme park and water park. This spot got its start as a park in the 19th century and began introducing amusements in the early 20th century. However, its modern reputation is for its thrilling roller coasters, many of which are named after popular characters or films, such as Batman: The Ride. Costumed characters roam the avenues between the rides. Arrange to visit Six Flags New England and other attractions in Agawam using our Agawam road trip site.

I have been to this park more than any other park, so I have a pretty good feel for it many say it’s run down or too small or outdated or bland apart from Superman and Wicked Cyclone, and now also...

First time visiting and check in was very quick and smooth. The walk to the theme park entrance is a bit of a trek from the parking lot but they offer trolleys that takes you to the entrance. We just opted to walk instead of wait for the trolley. This six flags is a decent sized theme park in MA. Offers both thrill and kid friendly rides. I like that they have a few kid friendly sections and most of the coasters are good for kids who are at least 48”. The more thrill rides like Batman, Superman, and Riddler are for older kids. One of our most favorite rides was Thunderbolt—very fun and relaxing actually. I like that it wasn’t bumpy or rocky! Pandemonium was also good but long wait so try that one first to get it out of the way. Can’t wait to try their water park soon!

Always lots of fun at Six Flags! The rides the water and games.. So much fun! Obviously it's not free and does cost a decent amount of money for food and all the other extras.. But the price to get in was normal and you are allowed to leave and come back so if you plan properly you can go for gates open with tickets bought in advance ride rides or water park or both.. Go back to your vehicle for lunch and than back to fun fun fun. I would recommend getting the souvenir drink cup after you buy it you get free refills so if you plan on being there all day definitely a good idea! At this Six Flags it's not to bad line waiting wise, even more so if you go when kids are in school on like a Tuesday or Wednesday.. I WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND THE HALLOWEEN EVENTS... I have gone 4 different years and they were each fantastic 😍 Everyone should go to some kind of theme park during Halloween at least once in their lifetime.. You won't regret going here😊🎃👻🦇
