With a calendar packed full of special events and activities, World Heritage-listed Blenheim Palace attracts visitors from around the globe. Built between 1705 and 1722, this monumental palace is the official residence of the dukes of Marlborough. Designed in the short-lived English Baroque style, the palace is unique in its combined usage as a family home, mausoleum, and national monument. Also notable as the birthplace and ancestral home of Winston Churchill, the building includes one of the finest art collections in Europe. Guided tours, included in the admission price, are available throughout the day. You can also choose to join a themed tour, which includes an extended series of special-interest lectures and walks though the palace’s historic chambers. Beautiful gardens with lakes. Very well maintained. Palace state rooms are a must visit. Exhibitions were interesting - must purchase state rooms tour to access exhibitions. Cafes are good, providing a good selection of snacks including sandwiches. Staff are friendly and helpful. Gift shop has lots to offer.

Stunning! An absolute must see. Impressive and well presented grounds and gardens. The Palace is probably one of the best preserved and beautifully kept houses I've seen. Staff clearly love the house and its history and happily share this with visitors. So lovely to see. Loved reading the details about Winston Churchill and his family, and recommend going to see his and the family graves. Would most definitely return, keep a full day free, you'll need it.
