The MAD Museum, Stratford-upon-Avon

Fantastic place to visit on your own, friends, family. Great display of mechanical things mostly made of wood or metal. Lots of funny things but also at least one gory (military bunnies, one of them exploding) so bare it in mind if your child is sensitive to that content. Loved it, will be back :)

A freind recommended a visit. At first missed it as the entrance blended in with other shops. On first appearance on entry, it seemed small. But it was amazing and fun with interactive displays and an interesting cinema on other quirky designs. Overall spent just under 2hrs there. If had children, probably would have been there 3 hrs. Great for little ones too, with a big interactive play wall to create their own marble run. £7.80 adult fee to enter. We visited in a weekday which was quiet
