Pitlochry Station Bookshop was founded in 2005 to raise money for charity by selling donated books cheaply. In the past decade, the Bookshop has thrived and raised £160,000 from selling second-hand books at £1 each. Because there is no rental to pay and all the staff are volunteers, almost all the money goes to the six charities which the Bookshop supports.
