What a castle! Fascinating history and loads to see. Climb up the keep as the view is fantastic. The kids loved the fun history videos. The Henry VII room was great. And the cave was awesome! Be ready to climb steps though!
Absolutely wonderful day at this magnificent Castle! If ever you go and I recommend it highly, please go on the guided tour with Gareth the ex history teacher. He was fantastic! He made the whole tour very interesting with his extended knowledge of Henry VII and William Marshall. We spent four hours here and loved every minute. The tour is free with your entrance ticket and you will not be disappointed.
