Founded in 1893 Newtonmore Golf Club has an easy walking, parkland golf course set in the upper Spey Valley near Kingussie, Aviemore & Inverness. Active program of club and open competitions. New members and visitors welcome. It's a lovely course in superb condition and full of exciting and invigorating challenges for players of all levels of ability. It nestles appealingly on the bonny banks of the River Spey in the midst of the Cairngorm National Park.

We visited for breakfast, a round of golf and lunch. The course itself is in good nick and a little more forgiving if you hit the odd wayward shot. Food was god and the club could not have done more..... more

Played Newtonmore for the first time after deciding to play the course while driving North after playing Gleneagles. I was very impressed by the course and, in particular, the greens which were immaculate and in much better condition than Gleneagles. Great views and a friendly welcome adds up to an all round fantastic experience. Well done Newtonmore GC. Highly recommended.
