  • A great museum to visit and explore. Looks fantastic after the renovation. It is nice to learn some local history, especially from the books they have in the library room, where you can see photos of areas in Luton and compare them to modern day. There are some really interesting exhibitions on display too and I really like the scrapbooks with pictures from the past from the locals/curators of the museum. There are some fantastic activities running during the holidays for children. The video displays are also very informative. It really feels like you've stepped back in time. Great gardens and lake to see and walk around after the museum visit. The cafe is also good, serves a variety of foodstuffs. Would be even better if staff were polite - when I visited, I was greeted with, "We're closed! Takeaway only!"
  • Brilliant museum, I would recommend it. It had been recently renovated, there's disabled access everywhere. The staff were lovely. The kids kept looking for toy mice as part of their activities. Don't get me started on the coffee, IT WAS BRILLIANT! and I'm really fussy about my coffee. Entrance is free but I would recommend donating if you liked it.
