  • As a retired engineer I understand the incredible work that was undertaken to construct this truly awesome project. The visitor centre only gives a glimpse of the works and the reason behind them...

  • Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, learnt more about how important this facility is to make the UK run as it does. Learnt how it makes the electricity that we take for granted every day like turning on a kettle or charging our phones. The history is very interesting also with what it used to be like many years ago. One thing I didn’t really like was that we couldn’t take any phones, cameras, camcorders etc into the mountain with us which was a bit of a bummer but oh well. The little cafe had nice drinks and snacks to get while waiting for the trip to begin. Overall it is a very good experience that I would recommend to people reading this to go and check out. Also on the website you are supposed to print tickets but they understand that not everyone has a printer with them.
  • Booking system was terrible and customer service is extremely bad. Manager is trying to fight us for the money 💰. They keep saying to check in at reception and the tour starts downstairs and they won't give us a refund. Total waste of money and time.
