Lovely place, beautiful gardens, especially the yew garden. Toilets and cafe open. We'll worth a visit. Some families took picnics, lots of places for kids to run off energy. Not a great place for anyone with mobility issues. Staff are fabulous and do very, very helpful. Food and drinks are great too. We'll worth a visit. Be aware though they no longer let you buy tickets for just the gardens, it's one price (not cheap) to see both. Think in this day and age, given the hardship people are under, they should give you the choice. This may put people off from visiting, that's a shame and certainly not thought through very well.

My grandaughter and I visited on a Thursday. What a wonderful house. We had a lovely chat with a volunteer guide. He made the house visit so interesting and knew everything. The gardens by the house were beautiful and the yew trees amazing. We also went round the walled garden and again we loved it. There are lovely places for a picnic and the tea room is clean with lovely staff and outdoor tables as well. We would encourage anyone to visit. We had a lovely all round.
